What makes O-Live extra virgin?

O-Live is extracted mechanically from fresh olives, cold and without heat or chemicals, within four hours of harvest. Extra virgin oil must also meet strict quality limits, including a free acidity of 0.8% or less.

O-Live meets the extra virgin standard of 0.8% free acidity or less. Low acidity comes from healthy olives pressed quickly, which is why we mill within four hours of harvest.

Natural waxes and fats in extra virgin olive oil firm up in the cold. It’s completely normal and clears again at room temperature.

Single-source oil from hand-picked olives, pressed within hours and sealed under inert gas in glass, costs more to make than blended or refined oils. We think you’ll taste why.

What if my bottle arrives damaged?

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we’ll send a replacement. As a food product, bottles can’t be returned unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
